Protected and Notable Species Survey
Certain species are protected by law and/or are a material consideration in the determination of a planning application. As such it is sometimes necessary to conduct specialist surveys for protected and notable species. Protected species surveys may require multiple site visits and techniques, and may need to be conducted at certain times of year. Alien Species Surveys It is illegal to cause the spread in the wild of certain flora and fauna. The presence of such species may need to be assessed as part of an ecological assessment to inform a planning application. |
